Improving the world around us, for otherS…

Sharing the wealth we create is at the heart of what we do.

We feel a special affections for orphan kids globally.

2022 - 2023 - Ukraine

At the start of the Russian Invasion in Ukraine we immediately sought organisations in Ukraine protecting orphan kids and we were fast to move and secure meaningful donations in favor of TIKVA in Odessa who managed to rescue almost 1,000 kids and refugees leading them outside of the danger zones. 2018 - 2021 - Dominican Republic

In 2018 we started supporting the valuable work of a US-domiciled NGO that started an orphanage and primary-to-middle school in the Dominican Republic which cares for street children in the favelas of Puerto Plata.

SerendipEquity’s Founder, Mario Bonaccorso, is personally invested in the orphanage, being a regular visitor and mentoring the underprivileged boys until they become men.

Watch his interview with his 3 elder boys during a building and construction internship at a Ranch in Northern DR during Summer 2021.

Future Initiatives

The SerendipEquity team is currently working on a major sustainable and globally scalable and self-sustaining philanthropic model revolving around on-the-job high school boarding education.

We will share further developments soon.

We also look forward to inviting our investors and partners to get involved alongside us.

The largest program of Project Esperanza is a grassroots education program. This supports grassroots schools that began in Haitian churches throughout Puerto Plata, in order to educate Haitian refugee and immigrant children living in the Dominican Republic.

Haitians that immigrate to the Dominican Republic face many challenges including learning Spanish and dealing with discrimination. While some Haitians do integrate their children into Dominican public schools, many Haitian immigrant children remain without schooling.

For the 2018-2019 school year, Project Esperanza has over 150 students sponsored so. Most of the staff are community members, who are supported by dedicated board members and volunteers abroad that help fundraise.

Different volunteer groups visit regularly to run workshops and field trips for the students. Volunteers also assist with teacher training and health education. In addition, Project Esperanza offers an English immersion summer camp for students, as English is a much sought-after skill in a tourism economy.
